Topographic Mayfield 10 P08708-P00260 This dramatic sunrise was capturedInspired by the fascinating patterns and shapes found in topographic maps, this ceramic wall sculpture by Emil Yanos features several layers of eye catching shapes, which Yanos layers onto a tile before adding texture via clay impressions. This texturing is enhanced by multiple applications of underglaze, after which the pieces are fired at high temperature then reassembled using Yanos' unique take on kintsugi. Tiles are sealed to prevent oxidation
